Zlatan Ibrahimovic reportedly agrees LA Galaxy switch

UNITED hope to welcome back Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly at the end of the month.

Regarding the Swedish veteran, Mourinho also have an update on his potential future with the club. Or at the very least, it's a huge nothing burger when compared to the endless hype and self-promotion that narrative received from the outlet that first pushed it.

"He is working hard to be fit", Mourinho said.

The relationship between Zlatan and Mourinho contains too much respect and understanding of one another for the former to pull wool over the Portuguese's eyes.

Galaxy striker Dos Santos could be paired with Ibrahimovic if a move is made, and he told reporters on that prospect following an outing for Mexico against Bosnia & Herzegovina: "I don't know if it is going to happen but he's a legend, one of the best strikers in history of soccer".

"He never mentioned absolutely anything to me, not an opinion not a comment, absolutely nothing at all so I presume there is nothing true in the news".

Mourinho's side have an important month ahead, with crucial clashes against Sevilla and Chelsea, but it's expected both Bailly and Ibrahimovic will be unavailable. Mourinho insisted post-match the change was enforced, with the Belgium worldwide suffering a knee problem - an injury that has seen him miss 17 games over two periods on the sidelines already this season. We were first for a few weeks and then I think we were always second.

'I want to believe that by Champions League time, around the end of the month, they will be back'.

"This is something that is part of my life, or part of my football culture before I become Manchester United manager and why?" said Mourinho, who sported a Munich pin badge on his eve of match press conference.

'It was internal, now external, so let's wait a couple of more days, but he's out of the game (against Huddersfield) tomorrow.

"It is not an ACL [anterior cruciate ligament] or a complete rupture of any structure of the knee".

'Probably we are going to lose him for a few weeks.
