The Walking Dead season 8, episode 10 The Lost and the Plunderers

For CarterMatt this is going to be a very different show. Simon wants to move on from Rick and his people and cut their losses. "He asked us for peace", he told Negan.

The biggest cliffhanger was seeing Rick bleeding out while leaning up against a tree full of hanging stained glass.

With Carol now furious at Henry for disobeying her and not staying with the remaining Kingdom residents, their future interactions are probably going to be fun to watch. Carl made Rick promise that he would build a better future alongside the Saviors.

Michonne was of course heartbroken, but also angry that not only was Carl dead, but also much of Alexandria was pretty much burnt to the ground. We last see her, as previously mentioned, eating a bunch of applesauce and perhaps contemplating her next exhibition. Unfortunately they are not seeing eye to eye on what the next move is.

The synopsis for the installment reads as so: "Daryl finds himself in bad company as his group heads to the Hilltop; Maggie makes hard decisions at the Hilltop; Gabriel's faith becomes tested".

Despite their fight, Negan still sent Simon to deal with the trash people, and Simon did not follow the rules. Negan gives Rick a taste of his own medicine and tells him something I'm sure he already feels, he blames him for Carl's death.

"You failed as a leader, and most of all, Rick, you failed as a father", Negan tells him. "The Lost and the Plunderers" ended with Simon looking down at his pain covered shoe, teasing that Negan may already be onto him.

Michonne stands behind Rick as he kneels at Carl's grave, saying goodbye. Jadis apologizes as the saviors collect their weapons. Negan yells, demanding him to do his job. However, he does make a point to say that once he "clips Rick, everything will be aces". Sunday's installment dashed any hope that Rick might honor Carl's wishes by ending the war.

On the road, Rick wipes away tears as he wonders what Carl meant by his last words. When she asks to come with him he says no and leaves her there - guess Carl's death was all for nothing and Rick hasn't learned anything. Rick radios Negan. Negan gets on the radio. This was such a huge disappointment. She just wanted to keep her people safe in their own little world, much like the Oceanside community.

Warning: Contains spoilers for The Walking Dead. If you do, there'll just be someone.the way out is working together.

Finally, these images also show Negan gathering his Saviors by a fence littered with chained-up walkers.

The star isn't surprised that Carl wrote a letter to Negan though since the two had an interesting relationship.

Eight seasons of The Walking Dead have given rise to some great comedy creations on the show - but now, actor Steven Ogg is teasing that his character Simon won't be laughing after his recent betrayal of Negan.

The Walking Dead stunned viewers when the final moments of the mid-season finale revealed that Carl Grimes had been bitten by a walker, ensuring that the long-time regular character would succumb to wounds despite the fact that Carl is alive in the comics, which have surpassed the storyline now being depicted on the series.

That's right. The leader of The Saviors deserves to be named the MVP for several reasons, most of which show how he has continued to evolve as a leader. Here's a hint it's going to heavily involve Norman Reedus! The most disappointing part of this episode was seeing that so soon after Carl's death Rick was still leaving people behind. Rick heads to the scrapyard to appeal to Jadis, he still needs her fighters and their guns.

She returns to grab Rick, and the two pile more supplies into their van, almost ready to leave. After everything that Negan has done to Carl's family, the murder, the threats and mental torture, Carl doesn't see him imprisoned in a cell but gardening and acting friendly with Judith. Leave us a comment in the box below with your thoughts. Normally, my questions are just various manifestations of me shouting "WHY?!" at the TV for 45 minutes. What would The Walking Dead look like without one or both of these actors?
