Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn attends left-wing Jewish group's event

Corbyn's attendance on Monday night at an alternative Passover Seder organized by "Jewdas" - a small association of left-wing anti-Zionists devoted to attacking the UK's mainstream Jewish communal leadership - was greeted with dismay by Jewish leaders and several Labour politicians, many of whom pointed to a tweet from the group that described Israel as "a steaming pile of sewage which needs to be properly disposed of".

Speaking to Sky News, Sir David has raised the prospect of supporting the Tories as he voiced fierce criticism of Mr Corbyn amid a continuing anti-Semitism row.

He added that "anti-Semitism is a vile and evil thing" and Labour had a process for dealing with it.

As Mr Lansman finally admitted "I think all people who participate in making decisions about the cases, yes,", Ms Derbyshire said claimed it was "extraordinary from him to call on Mr Corbyn to educate himself".

The group named Jewdas have previously claimed anti-Semitism allegations against the leader as "the work of cynical manipulations by people whose express loyalty is to the Conservative Party and the right wing of the Labour Party".

If Jeremy Corbyn thought he was dousing anti-Semitism accusations by spending Seder with Jewish group Jewdas, he thought wrong.

Newspaper reports suggested that chants were aimed against the police and army during the Jewdas event.

Jon Lansman, found of Momentum, a grassroots organization that backs Corbyn and the Labour party, in an interview with BBC Radio 4 played down the gravity of Corbyn's attendance at the Seder.

What that view omits, however, is the fact that in response to Mr Corbyn's request for a meeting with the BoD and JLC, those groups said they wanted him to publicly confirm his commitment to engage with the Jewish community "via its main representative groups and not through fringe groups who wish to obstruct the party's efforts to tackle anti-Semitism".

"It was very interesting talking to a lot of young people about their experiences of modern Britain and I learned a lot".

UNREPENTANT Jeremy Corbyn insists that his dinner with a group that has demanded the destruction of Israel was a "good thing".

He added: "Anti-Semitism is a cancer and terrible in our society and has to be eradicated wherever it rears its head". It has got to be eradicated wherever it arises. It added that it was disappointed in the party's "failure to date to deal with them in a sufficiently decisive, swift and transparent manner".

Let us not quibble over words - anti-Semitism is racism pure and simple and it just can not be tolerated in any modern democracy. But they refer to anti-Semitism in Labour as a smear'.

"No, it isn't", he said.

Jewish comedian David Baddiel, a vocal campainger against anti-Semitism, said: "They are just Jews who disagree with other Jews". We conclude that he can not seriously contemplate anti-Semitism, because he is so ideologically fixed within a far left worldview that is instinctively hostile to mainstream Jewish communities.
