It's been a long time since we saw the inmates of Litchfield Prison, but it's almost time to return to everyone's favourite felons.

Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for Season 6 of Orange Is the New Black, which picks up in the aftermath of last season's riot that rocked Litchfield Penitentiary. The events of the three-day riot left the inmates' lives forever changed as they fought for redemption, resolution, and the respect they deserve, ending with personal triumphs as well as heavy consequences as inmates were ultimately loaded into buses, separated, and taken away to new prisons.

'It's very different here, these girls are psychos!' Lorna Morello Muccio (Yael Stone) whispers to the newcomers.

'First my friends become not my friends, ' she confides in Piper (Taylor Schilling).

Piper explains to her that 'Blues and Khakis have beef with each other; Pinks are safe out there'.

'Navigating adult female friendships is so complicated, ' the uncoiling Crazy Eyes declares. As the ten work to protect each other and those who were involved with the riot, it seems that the people conducting the investigation are going to work hard to break down those bonds in any way that they can. The ladies have been torn apart, literally and figuratively, as they enter a new facility in the latest season.

From the looks of this trailer, Orange Is The New Black will continue in its dedication to providing compelling storylines for its characters, so get ready for an emotional rollercoaster.
