United reject Barcelona's complex part-ex deal for Pogba

Grant SmithAug 08, 2018

The Sun claims the former Juventus star - who joined United for a then world-record fee of £89 million in 2016 - has demanded the Premier League side increase his wages from £180,000 to £380,000 a week so he is paid nearly on a par with Chilean star Alexis Sanchez, otherwise he will leave.

The Manchester United midfielder became a world champion following a string of excellent performances in Russian Federation. PSG will be more determined that United to hang on to their midfield star particularly as they have no obvious replacement lined up.

Although the Premier League transfer window closes on Thursday afternoon, Barcelona will have until the end of the month to sign Pogba.

Mourinho also appeared to question Pogba's focus when at his club, with prevalant outside distractions.

With less than 48 hours to go before the transfer window slams shut, Jose Mourinho did his best to take his mind off Manchester United's incomings and outgoings by going for a bite to eat with friends.

The report claims that Raiola has assured Barcelona that he will be able to broker a €100m deal for the midfielder.

Juventus will include Miralem Pjanic in their bid for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this week, according to a report.

Bayern Munich are under no pressure to sell Boateng and know Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.

Jose Mourinho tells ESPN FC that the World Cup was the ideal habitat for Paul Pogba as he could 'only think about football'.

Barcelona have reportedly had a series of offers for Willian rejected by Chelsea, but the attacker cleared up the speculation.

At the present moment, it seems unlikely that Pogba will join Barcelona, but if the move does come off, it would set into motion one of the maddest transfer deadline days we have ever seen.

Juventus, the club Pogba played for in between his two stints at Old Trafford, are said to be keen to have him back.

Bakayoko moved to Stamford Bridge from Monaco last summer for £40m and started 25 Premier League games in his first season in the Premier League.
