Olivia Newton-John diagnosed with cancer for 3rd time

"No, I don't go there". I could easily create a huge fear, but my husband is always there, and he is always there to support me, and I think I will win over it, and that is my goal'.

"It's my life. I chose to just keep it to myself", she told "Sunday Night".

After beating the disease, she became an advocate for breast cancer research and treatment, opening the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia. But Olivia's battle was not over. "Yeah, I feel really good". And a lump came up, and I went to see the doctor. What did you think of her interview?

The Grease icon beat breast cancer over two decades ago, but previous year, she revealed the disease had returned, forcing her to postpone her An Evening With Olivia Newton-John tour.

Unlike the first time, Olivia chose to keep this cancer discovery secret.

Newton-John made a decision to keep the cancer diagnosis private at the time. Last May, she noticed she had back pain and discovered that her breast cancer had returned to the base of her spine, which was causing the pain.

While the star put on a fearless face during the interview, she revealed she does have her moments of despair, but just wouldn't be having them in front of the camera. A lot of people see it as a fight, and that's their prerogative, but I see it as part of my mission.

Born in England and a longtime resident of Australia now living in California, Newton-John said she's treating the cancer with a combination of medicine and natural remedies, including cannabis oil for pain.

During an interview with CNN in 2017, Newton-John said she was grateful to still be able to sing and perform after so many years and thanked her fans.

So he makes me tinctures. They help with sleep.

"I'm very lucky that I live in a state where it's legal and that I have a husband that is a plant-medicine man", she says of spouse John Easterling, who grows cannabis on their California ranch.

"You know, how lucky is that? I shouldn't say fight, in this journey", she said on the Australian show Sunday Night.

"There are other people out there doing much, much worse than me", she adds. And I am very a privileged person, and I am very aware of that.
