Paul Pogba: Manchester United exit reports 'will always be just rumours'

Grant SmithSep 14, 2018

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba had a fantastic worldwide break, displaying his skills in the UEFA Nations League.

Pogba's comments, however, came after he gave an interview to Sky Germany that fuelled speculation about his happiness, and long-term future at Old Trafford.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has spoken about his relationship with Jose Mourinho.

"I'm under contract in Manchester. I am committedd to United", he told Telefoot.

The 21-year-old was the driving force behind Wolves promotion to the Premier League last season and has hit the ground running this term for The Black Country club.

Pogba is contracted at United until 2021 and the report adds that the club wanted to begin negotiations with the Frenchman after the World Cup.

When asked about his relationship with Mourinho, Pogba revealed it was just a professional one and not personal.

'Pogba - or at least his agent Mino Raiola - have made little secret of hiding the desire to move, either to Barcelona, as many feel, or a return to Juventus.

Eric Cantona has said that Pep Guardiola should be Manchester United's manager rather than Jose Mourinho.

United are 10th in the Premier League table with two wins and two losses from their four games, and face Watford on September 15 after the global break. One thing I can assure you: "I will always give 100 percent, no matter which coach I always give everything for United - I cannot say more". "There have been little things with the coach - the relationship is always the same, coach and player. I can not say more".

United have publicly advertised for the position of a recruitment analyst as the club aims improve its scouting procedure, according to a report in Manchester Evening News.
