Lacazette, Ramsey star as rampant Arsenal make it nine in a row

The teams went into the break level at 1-1 after an end-to-end first half, which saw Alexandre Lacazette break the deadlock and Andre Schurrle equalise.

In the 29th minute, Alexandre Lacazette gave a 1-0 lead to the visitors after a composed finished at the near post.

The Gunners faced a decent Fulham side in a Premier League clash.

Arsenal now have a 15-day rest before they resume league duties at home to Leicester City on October 22, three days before they head to Sporting CP in the Europa League.

Frenchman Lacazette claimed the opening goal of the London derby at Craven Cottage when he spun on Nacho Monreal's cutback before drilling the ball past Marcus Bettinelli.

According to Opta, the match marked the first time in a Premier League fixture that two substitutes have come off the bench to each score and assist for a single team in a match.

Monreal clipped his cross into Lacazette and the French striker left Tim Ream flat-footed with a nimble turn and close-range strike for his fourth goal of the season.

They waved the white flag as Arsenal ran riot, leaving Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic frustrated with their effort levels in the second half.

However, Arsenal were made to pay for their sloppy passing at the other end in the 44th minute, after Monreal gave the ball away needlessly in a unsafe area. Aaron Ramsey got it started with a wild bit of skill, and he somehow managed to top that with his finish.

It proved an inspired move as Ramsey sealed the points with a majestic finish in the 67th minute. Ramsey flicked the ball into the net from behind his body after another superb passing move that also featured an impudent mid-air backheel from Hector Bellerin. Aubameyang put the seal on Arsenal's stroll in the autumn sunshine in the 79th minute, deftly converting Bellerin's cross. Waiting until the end of the season to have him for free is a gamble any club will not want to take.

No wonder jubilant Gunners crammed into one corner of Craven Cottage celebrated the goal with chants of "We've got our Arsenal back".
