Eugenie wedding: George and Charlotte among pageboys and bridesmaids

Irene MckinneyOct 12, 2018

It's royal wedding eve, you guys, and if you're anything like us, the anticipation surrounding Princess Eugenie's nuptials at Windsor Castle on October 12 (aka tomorrow) is tough to bear.

Lord Frederick and his sister, Lady Gabriella, grew up in Kensington Palace with Eugenie's cousins, Prince William and Prince Harry.

Detailed announcements will be made and photographs will also be released on the day of the wedding on the official Royal Family website.

While Britain's ITV channel will be covering the wedding live on TV, the broadcast will not be available in South Africa.

It was reported earlier this week, the 96-year-old will decide the morning of the wedding as to whether or not he will attend, which could also be a reason for his name being left off the Order of Service.

The couple will then take a short carriage trip through Windsor, echoing that of Harry and Meghan when huge crowds turned out to watch.

Robbie and Ayda, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, and George and Amal Clooney are set to be among the guests, whilst around 1,200 members of the public were selected by a ballot after 100,000 applied for a place in the castle grounds.

Among the bridesmaids and pageboys are Prince William and Kate's eldest children, Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 3; Zara and Mike Tindall's firstborn daughter, four-year-old Mia Tindall; and Savannah and Isla Phillips, aged seven and six respectively, the daughters of Peter and Autumn Phillips.

Almost all Britain's senior royals are expected to attend although Prince Charles's wife Camilla will be absent as she has a prior engagement in Scotland.

It also could just be a color that Princess Eugenie likes, as she's worn various versions of red over the years.

Brooksbank and Eugenie have dated for many years. The couple says he got down on one knee and proposed in January during a trip to Nicaragua while the couple was visiting a spectacular lake next to a volcano. The Queen's youngest grandchildren, Lady Louise, 14, and James, Viscount Severn, 10, will tackle the positions of Special Attendants under the guidance of their proud parents Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex.

"Most Brits opposed taxpayer funding of Prince Harry's wedding but as with all royal events were forced to accept it", a spokesman for the group said.

Friends have reportedly said her absence was not calculated but due to an unavoidable clash. "A lot of tourists don't even know about this wedding Friday, but it will bring in the crowds and should be a good day for us".
