Did White House share doctored video of incident involving CNN reporter?

When a White House intern tried to grab the microphone from Acosta, he held onto it and continued asking questions.

In response, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders distributed a video which she claims shows Acosta pushing a female White House intern as she attempts to take the microphone from Acosta.

Co-host Sunny Hostin of "The View" actually said Thursday that the poor White House intern who tried to take the mic away from CNN correspondent Jim Acosta as he grandstanded during a press conference was the one who did the assaulting.

Hours earlier Mr Acosta found himself in the president's line of fire during a news conference called to trumpet Republican success in Tuesday's midterm elections, but which quickly turned hostile when Mr Trump opened the floor to questions.

Trump appeared ready to walk out as Acosta clung to the microphone and persisted with questions about the president's views on a caravan of Central American migrants making its way to the United States border. "And the way you treat other people is frightful". "If you did it well, your ratings would be much better".

Acosta repeatedly presses Sanders in her rare briefings to clarify quotes and policy from the president. "I've traveled with him and watched him", Alexander said. "I will not let you down".

What did the White House say?

His statement, "Pardon me, maam", is not included in the video Sanders shared.

After two years of being blocked by the White House and the Trump Organisation at every turn, Democrats hope the new year brings a new day on such issues as foreign government spending at Trump properties, Trump's foreign licensing deals, Trump administration ties to lobbyists and special interests, and spending by Trump's charitable foundation. Acosta said before Trump interrupted him. They are not only risky, the are disturbingly un-American. Trump interrupted her, calling it a racist question. He doesn't like that there are some white nationalists who are supporting the president. Sure. Is it appropriate for the White House to seize the hard pass to obstruct daily access to the White House to someone because the president wants to spar with him and considers him a critic? No. "What do you say to that?"

"I'll tell you what".

Alcindor moved on to a different topic. During the George W. Bush presidency, Trude Feldman, who worked for various news outlets, was suspended for 90 days after security cameras recorded her looking through a press aide's desk late one night.

Trump also shut down American Urban Radio Networks' April Ryan.
