Once Upon a Deadpool Trailer Promises a Mean PG-13

Instead we get a series of new scenes specifically for this new release, which includes Savage getting, well, savage with his opinions of Fox doing Marvel movies, as well as Deadpool warning an elderly couple not to get too attached to each other.

"And nobody does childlike innocence like you, Fred, nobody!" Reynolds reminds him that the Deadpool pics are Marvel movies and Savage counters, "But you're Marvel licensed by Fox".

Ryan Reynolds has shared the trailer for Once Upon A Deadpool, the PG-13 re-release of Deadpool 2 that's heading our way especially for Christmas.

While Once Upon a Deadpool will mostly a be a version of Deadpool 2 edited to remove content that earned the film its R rating, co-write Paul Wernick confirmed that some new footage was shot.

If you look closely at the bookcase behind Savage, there's a Captain America action figure sitting on the shelf.

A quick montage revealed Deadpool's regular sidekicks Negasonic Teenare Warhead, played by Brianna Hildebrand, pink-haired Yukio, played by Shioli Katsuna, and Colossus, a CGI metal man voiced by Stefan Kapičić. "It's like if the Beatles were produced by Nickelback. It's music, but it sucks!"

That knocked Deadpool, who pointed his finger at Fred, saying: 'You were nicer as a kid'. And I've said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said "Yes" on two conditions.

I'm not so sure the world needs a PG-13 Deadpool 2, but I will admit the joke about how Fred Savage prefers "real" Marvel movies, as opposed to ones released by Fox, was fairly amusing.

The filtered version of the movie shows a captured Fred Savage, playing himself, tied to a bed while Deadpool reads a toned-down version of the story. "The second condition took some explaining ..."

Once Upon a Deadpool's first trailer went up Monday, giving a brief tease of the PG-13-rated version of Deadpool 2's new sequences.
